Had a GREAT time with the game. Love the traditional puzzle solving and having to really scratch my head a few times before finding solutions. Very very good game.
However the epilogue DLC is VERY crash and bug prone. Upon reloading and hitting Continue after a crash, the game almost always bugs out and inexplicably returns to the portrait room from the end of the main game and reverts all progress back to that part of the main game. Only choice is to restart the epilogue all over, which I have done twice and am reluctant to do again lol. I'll return to the epilogue in the future when more patches are out.
Hi, I found a bug in the room with the "unfamilliar" reflection. After you give the ghost the 4 dresses, your reflection disappear. But it still says the thing about the unfamilliar reflection. Also, when leaving and reentering the room, the glass has completely disappear and you can go to the other side of the mirror. For the last part I'm not sure it's a bug, bug since there's nothing new to find, or something happening, I guess it was not made in purpose.
Hello! I just received my PlayDate today and I just bought this game too. If you're interested, I can translate the whole text strings of the game to Spanish language. I saw a German version of the game and I would love to see also a Spanish one. Thanks for making games for this tiny system!!!
I'm excited to play (paid version) but I think I missed something. I just got the shovel and can't figure out how to use it/what to do now. It feels like I am missing something dumb but I have just been wondering around for a while pushing against everything. Do I need to use the crank or something?
To "use" an item, you have to select it from your inventory (press B). Your currently selected item will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen. If you don't have the item selected, you won't trigger an events related to it. I hope that clears things up.
As for the shovel: one of the GIFs on this page should answer your question.

I just beat it today despite the bugs only to see you’ve been working on fixes this whole time. Good to know! Really nice little game, I enjoyed this a lot.
